Canoe Rack

Every year I try to go camping somewhere with a few friends. Most of these adventures have some water involved, whether it’s a pond/lake or river. I made this rear brace for the tails of the canoes, which hooks into a groove in the bed-liner of the truck. This is a 2x10 with tapers on each side, then, a box which wedges in tight against the tailgate. Off from the box, I added the two supports which hold the top 2x4 brace. This all disassembles quickly with a few screws, allowing the tonneau cover to roll out and cover the bed.
